"Dead Moon Walking" has a long production history before its official release as a part of MAKE Originals. It started even before the existence of MAKE Originals. The first four episodes (Comet, Uplifted, Die-ving Board, Bugged, Celebration) went public several years before MAKE Originals' launch. The studio decided to produce new episodes after as MAKE Originals started rolling out. Most of my contributions are on these newer stories.
The series follows two astronauts, Orion and Leo - 'relatively' wiser one and the other with a flakey headspace. In every episode, at least one of them or both die. Period. How do they come back alive in the next episode? Don't ask ;)
I contributed extra character designs and world explorations for the potential series expansion.

Visual Development
Additional Characters & Creatures Designs:
Originally the whole series was only set around Leo and Orion (and little green aliens sometimes). After deciding to launch MAKE Originals, the studio wanted to explore and expand the world of Dead Moon Walking. I was tasked to design extra characters and extra 'death' - possible dangers the crew can/will face, and these are the characters and monsters I designed.
Production: Backgrounds and Animations
Background Paintings:
I painted several backgrounds for newer episodes and lots of them were collaged with existing assets for the visual consistency. Still some episodes required completely new backgrounds and I was tasked to produce those fresh environments.

Beyond The Moon: Webtoon & Lo-fi
Webtoonized Dead Moon Walking:
Because of its cartoon/comic stripe characteristics, the studio also wanted to explore different forms of Dead Moon Walking and Webtoon was one of those. I was tasked to make comics and direct other artists to produce original DMW comics. Total 17 episodes were made - some of them were reframed versions of animated episodes - and posted on Webtoon Canvas.
Lo-fi Audio Visual:
The latest iteration of Dead Moon Walking was Lo-fi video. It was my solo project - from planning to finishing was all done on my own. It was a combination of producing original artworks (including animations on characters and props) and collaging existng assets.
